Our social rainbow whanau meets every Sunday 4-6pm at Nicholson Park in Mount Eden. Each session costs $10.50 and is suitable for all levels. (Times may vary, check our Instagram for the latest updates).

Due to limited court space, only 40 spaces (and 10 additional coaching spaces) are available each week. Players must register in advance (first come, first served) using the link below.

From 10am-5pm on Saturday 25th July 2026, at the Royal Oak Racquets Club!

Play in one of three grades:
-Advanced (GLTA Open A/B)
-Intermediate (experienced casual players)
-Beginner (for those just getting started!)

Prizes will be awarded to top performers in each grade!

We are now running regular box leagues, where entrants are grouped with players at similar skill levels to play competitive matches in a round-robin format. Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience! More details about how it works can be found here. Box winners receive a voucher for LSKD sportswear.

Round 8 begins on August 18 2026 and will run through to the end of September. Register now!

The GLTA is a global sports organisation that sanctions over 70 tennis tournaments worldwide each year. Our Sunday social group acts as a stepping stone for those looking to embrace the next step to travel to tournaments, make new friends and play in social or competitive grades.

While we hope to see more in New Zealand, there are many tournaments in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

As the club continues to grow, we hope to provide more opportunities with internal tournaments and social events outside of the courts!

In partnership with Tennis Sydney, they are hosting us for inaugural competition with the Armadillos, 20-21 September in Sydney.

This will be the first of many trans-tasman tournaments.
